We have two pubs in Brailes, both Hooky Pubs which serve food. The Gate Inn is a traditional pub serving traditional fayre, very good fish and chips to eat in or takeaway. The George has been newly refurbished and doing delicious good quality food. More information can be found about Brailes and events happening by clicking on the link below :
We are near to Shipston-On-Stour, a small market town with the river Stour running through the centre, delightfully rural, in a pleasant, peaceful and tranquil setting. Shipston-On-Stour has a number of traditional pubs and restaurants all serving great food, has some wonderful shops, selling quality foods from antiques to original paintings. Shipston-On-Stour provides a wealth of tradition and culture - there is a shop nearby that is one of the last manufacturers of handmade grandfather clocks in the UK. . We are also very close to a large number of small, quaint Cotswold villages. We are situated just 7 miles from Moreton-In-Marsh rail Station, which links through the Cotswolds, Oxford and onto London Paddington and 10 miles from Banbury Station, which links through to Marylebone Station. Stratford-Upon-Avon, Shakespeares Birthplace, is approximatley 12miles. Warwick and Leamington Spa are 15miles.
